Refunds and cancellation
Not published yet
A scaffold, not a policy. Indian payment gateways require a reachable refund and cancellation policy before they will onboard a merchant, so this page has to be real text before Finhale can take a single payment.
01What is being sold
The subscription, its billing period, and precisely what a paying user gets that a free user does not.
02Cancellation
How a user cancels, whether it takes effect immediately or at the end of the paid period, and whether access continues until then.
03Refund eligibility
Which circumstances qualify, and which do not. Ambiguity here is what produces chargebacks.
04Refund window
The period within which a refund can be requested, measured from a clearly defined start date.
05How to request one
The exact channel and what the user has to provide. A single working email address is enough, but it has to be stated.
06Processing time
How long a refund takes to be approved and how long it then takes to appear, given that the second part is the gateway's timeline and not yours.
07Failed and duplicate payments
How a double charge or a payment that failed after debit is identified and returned.
08Contact
A monitored address for payment disputes specifically.
